Model names first
Name the model or models under discussion: CGN160, HY500, HY800, HY1000, HY1200, HY1400, HY1600 or HY2400. Those eight model names are quoted with attribution to the company product page on the series page, and an enquiry should use those names exactly, since a model name is the anchor for every specification discussion that follows. If more than one model is under discussion, list each one with the part it serves, so that the quantities can be matched model by model.
Do not add a model name that is not on the series page, and do not describe a model by a value that the specification table does not record for it. The table is a single product page record for the eight models named, and discussion should stay within the columns it records: density, thickness, width, length, pieces per pack and testing method, together with the base values recorded for the line.
Form and system next
Name the form for each model: boards, pipe sections, gravel or custom shapes, as listed for the cellular glass route. Then describe the system: a tank, a tank base, a pipeline, a vessel, equipment, a cryogenic system or a circulation and dual temperature system, as recorded among the product page applications. State the surfaces involved and the moisture exposure, since moisture behaviour is the central concern for cellular glass systems, particularly cold-service ones.
Where a form and a model meet a particular system, state all three together: model, form and system. A board question for a tank wall, a pipe section question for a connected pipeline and a custom shape question for a fitting are different questions, even when they arise on the same site, and each one should be asked with its model, form and system named.
Values, quantities and documents last
Quote any specification value under discussion by model and column, so that the discussion can stay on that value. State the quantities where they are known, model by model and form by form, and ask for quantity terms, timing, trade terms, payment method and documents to be confirmed for the items named. Ask about packaging and labelling in the same way, stating what is needed for the order, since packaging and labelling are order matters rather than catalogue facts.
Documents follow the same order: items first, documents second, with the general wording that certificates are available upon request. An enquiry that follows that order, model first, then form and system, then values and quantities, then commercial and document questions, will produce answers that can be checked against the order, model by model.
A worked model enquiry
A buyer drafting a BoroCell enquiry can work through the questions in this order: model, then form, then system, then specification values under discussion, then quantities, then quantity terms, timing, trade terms, payment method and documents. Each step uses the previous one: a value question without a model cannot be answered, and a quantity question without a form cannot be counted. An enquiry that follows that order will receive answers that can be checked model by model.
If a model or a value is uncertain, the enquiry should say so and ask what information the supplier needs to confirm it, rather than guessing a model name or a value. The series page gives the model names and the specification table with attribution to the company product page, and the enquiry should quote from that table by model and column wherever a value is under discussion. That quoting habit keeps the discussion anchored to the record that states the value.
